FWIW, all your examples look perfect for me. I use Lucida Typewriter
for latin chars and
-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-*--13-*-*-*-*-*-ISO10646-1
for everything else.

Yeah, I use them to make a nice summary buffer in Gnus, e.g.
Kai Großjohann command.com versus cmd.exe
