Bug#138931: gnatsweb: fails to login correctly

From: Milan Zamazal

This is a bug report from Debian. Does anybody know, what's the
problem? The mentioned versions of Gnatsweb and GNATS seem to work well
on my machine, but should I upload new version of Gnatsweb anyway?

Thanks,

Milan Zamazal

Package: gnatsweb
Version: 3.beta99.2+cvs20011113-1
Severity: important

Hi there!

I get the following errors when trying to log into gnatsweb:

[Mon Mar 18 18:34:35 2002] gnatsweb.pl: Use of uninitialized value in numeric
lt (<) at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl line 3303, <SOCK> line 7.
[Mon Mar 18 18:34:35 2002] gnatsweb.pl: Argument "size" isn't numeric in
subtraction (-) at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl line 3866, <SOCK> line 12.
[Mon Mar 18 18:34:35 2002] gnatsweb.pl: Argument "plok" isn't numeric in
subtraction (-) at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl line 3866, <SOCK> line 12.

'plok' being the password of the testuser.

gnats itself is the latest available version in testing:
3.999.beta1+cvs20020303-1

which is quite newer than
zid:/etc/gnats/db-config/default# apt-cache show gnatsweb | grep Version
Version: 3.beta99.2+cvs20011113-1

So possibly, this can be remedied by uploading a new Version, but
until then people who use gnatsd authentification (and possibly other
features) break.
