[I've sent the following reports to address@hidden two days ago, but I couldn't see them there till now, so I'm resending them here. Sorry if you receive them twice.]
Subject: Topics Topics: send-pr -L How to list the information about classes? tkgnats and GNATS 4 pr-edit crashes Manual Texinfo bugs configure bugs `defaults' location Compilation error in gnats.el
--- Begin Message ---Subject: send-pr -L Date: 24 Sep 2000 12:12:08 +0200 GNATS 4, today's CVS snapshot. `send-pr --help' prints the following information Usage: send-pr [-PVL] [-t address] [-f filename] [-s severity] [-c address] [--request-id] [--version] but the `-L' option only invokes the same help message. It should either be added, or removed from the help. Milan Zamazal -- "Having GNU Emacs is like having a dragon's cave of treasures." Robert J. Chassell

--- Begin Message ---Subject: How to list the information about classes? Date: 24 Sep 2000 12:27:05 +0200 It seems `query-pr' in GNATS 4 no longer supports the option `--list-classes'. How can I list all information about available classes, as stated in the `classes' file? Thanks for any advice. Milan Zamazal -- "Having GNU Emacs is like having a dragon's cave of treasures." --- Begin Message ---Subject: tkgnats and GNATS 4 Date: 24 Sep 2000 12:31:03 +0200 Does tkgnats support GNATS 4? I tried to run it, but after pressing the "Create/Query Problem Reports", I receive the error message "query-pr: unrecognized option '--list-config'". --- Begin Message ---Subject: pr-edit crashes Date: 24 Sep 2000 12:47:49 +0200 GNATS 4, today's CVS snapshot. When there is no database configuration file or it's empty, pr-edit crashes after writing out the error message: $ /usr/lib/gnats/pr-edit --lockdb pr-edit: Unable to open global configuration file /etc/gnats/databases segmentation violation $ /usr/lib/gnats/pr-edit --lockdb pr-edit: List of databases in /etc/gnats/databases is empty?! segmentation violation When the database configuration files exists, but the databases directory listed there doesn't exist, pr-edit crashes without any explanation (which is very confusing for users): $ /usr/lib/gnats/pr-edit --lockdb segmentation violation Milan Zamazal -- "Having GNU Emacs is like having a dragon's cave of treasures." --- Begin Message ---Subject: `defaults' location Date: 24 Sep 2000 13:06:00 +0200 GNATS 4, today's CVS snapshot. I had some problem to put the `defaults' file to the appropriate location, as dictated by Debian standards. Could you please look at the attached patch and tell me whether there is a better way to change the location of the file or (if there's not) to put support for changing it?patch
