Hi, _Dr._ David,thanks a lot for the quick reply but Jonas Lindqvist was faster pointing out that I may use CVS instead of grabbing an old version from ftp.
That did the trick. On the 64-bit part, I can't test it, because our opteron server won't be here before next year. All my tests were made
on 32 bit intel xeon / pentium4 / pentium3 systems. --k
