[help-GIFT] unreadable error message at session opening

Hi,

i installed GIFT 0.1.13 and tried to get a php client to run. A tried 
Viper and one from this posting: 
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-gift/2004-07/msg00006.html

In both cases i get an error at attempt,to open an session. The error
message is unreadable, it looks like "Ý^F^Hrted_file". First characters
vary, it can be unprintable symbols to. The message ends allways with 
"Hrted_file".

I can send gift-log.mrml and server output, but i don't know, how. 
Should i attach both to posting?
