Brrr.
There is no good moving installations.

Really. My suggestion is to install GIFT from scratch in the location you
want to have it. Get the archive, unpack it in a new location, install.

Why did you want to reinstall this in the first place?

BTW I tried an install of GIFT on Gentoo lately, and I did not have any
problems. I did have problems with making an ebuild, so any help with that
is appreciated.
