Hi,
The short: I told Fabio to install GNU autotools or to install Debian in order
to install the gnuift package there...
His problem is that the ./configure script does not even get over the first 20
lines. He cannot regenerate the ./configure as he has no autotools installed.
Furthermore, as the ./configure script is autogenerated by the GNU autotools,
it is improbable that he would *not* have these problems when installing
autoconf.
Did anyone of you experience similar problems when installing GIFT on
Mandrake?

P.S.: On cygwin the said ./configure runs without any problem.
