[help-GIFT] Installing GIFT on MacOS-X or Darwin

Hi there,

has anyone successfully installed GIFT on MacOS-X 10.x or Darwin?

I've tried Version 0.1.8 but after running configure and make I got 
this:
...
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `configuring-and-hacking-the-
gift.sgml', needed by `configuring-and-hacking-the-gift.info'.  
Stop.
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
...

After deleting the Doc directory in Makefile->SUBDIRS I got this:

Any suggestions?
