Even GCC 2.96 supports the modern C++ style headers:
address@hidden cat hello.cpp
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main (void)
{
cout << "Hello world" << endl;
return 0;
}
address@hidden g++ --version
2.96
address@hidden g++ hello.cpp
address@hidden ./a.out
Hello world
address@hidden
Considering we are going to have 4.3 sometime soon, I do not think we
should bother too much about losing backwards compatibility. :-)
Happy hacking,
Debarshi
