[h-e-w] NMAKE Fatal Error

Hi,

 

When compiling emacs, using nmake (MSVC) on Windows XP, I get a fatal error:

 

Fatal error U1077: “c:\documents and settings\moosey\emacs\src/obj-spd/i386/temacs.exd” : return code ‘0xffffffff’

 

Obviously I assume this to be a problem with the forwards slashes in the path….but how can I change this?
