OK, you've found my problem -- I was customizing the buffer configuration in
~/.gnus and didn't know it needed to be updated for the new version. Is
there a better way to change the layout without redefining this variable?
Manual doesn't say.
Actually, it was creating the buffer but not displaying it.
Thanks a lot for the help. Now I can get on with figuring out how scoring
works.
