Hi All,

As many have pointed out setting the frame size / initial
frame position is more flexible in the .emacs.el file.

BUT: The other advantage of setting the font/positions in the
registry or .xdefault is that it is NOT in .emacs.el

I run emacs on 3 systems all with differing
sized screens and resolutions (1 Win2K, Win98 and Linux)
with the font size and frame size in the registry / .xdefaults
I can use exactly the same .emacs.el file on all three
systems!

Best regards

Paul
