Yes, the version on www.wyrdrune.com (which IIRC was the one mentioned
earlier in this thread) only uses tcp. If you are not networked your best
bet is to try and find the old version that uses mailslots or to install a
loopback adapter on your PC. This is a software "adapter" the simply exists
to allow tcp to work in a non networked environment.

How do gnuclientw and gnuserv communicate? TCP?
