Sorry for this confusing mail response. 
A variety of mail attachments, eg .exe, .reg, .vbs, are considered
"dangerous" and blocked by our exchange server. The automatic message
generated primarily refers to "virus" and only later on states that it
generally blocks certain file types. 
This is quite annoying, but there is not anything I can do about it.

The only "save" way to send attachments is to pack these file-types 
into zip-files and send them.
