The word "server" makes me think that I might not have that on my
laptop where I'm running Outlook Express. I may be wrong. Should I
go looking, or did you make an enterprise suggestion?

That's what I've got now. I made a cut. All my old messages (and all
of Wendy's) are in Outlook Express; my new ones are coming to gnus.

Again, "server" sounds like it may not be on a laptop.

I just took a cursory look at BBDB. Does it come pre-compiled for
WinDOS?
