Hi Luis

When a new patient is created in GNU Health would it not be better if 
their hospitalisaion status was set by default as:

"Ambulatory"

- Then when a 
patient attended the hospital for an out-patient appointment it could be 
changed to: 

"Outpatient"

for the duration of their outpatient visit.

If a 
doctor issues a prescription during the outpatient evaluation then the system 
will be able to flag the prescription as an outpatient "type" prescription (the 
same would be the case for lab requests, imaging requests etc).

This is how 
things work in the UK.
