Dear all
For epidemiological and other reasons, we need to include the family
in operational sector in the address.
When doing surveillance, it's important to associate a family or
co-habitants to a specific address. Many times when doing field work,
you don't know the habitants of a house, but you still need to enter
its characteristics.
- Type of building (house / apartment / condominium .. )
- # rooms
- Materials (wood, adobe, concrete, ... )
- Sewers / electricity ...
The house is subject to owner changes, and even sometimes is inhabited
and/or with no owner. This brings the following idea
When creating or editing a party, we could directly access to the
"cadastre" and retrieve the basic and extended information from that
property.
If we have this type of model, we can relate family members / health
operational sectors / epidemiological studies to an address, and not
to a party. This will reduce typing errors and duplicate addresses.
This method will also automatically fill many indicators of the
housing conditions when working on the patient socio-economics.
We can work on a model on its own; enhance the current "party address"
model to include this information or a combination of both.
Suggestions are most welcome.
Best,
