Hi all,
I am in favour of improving the time/step scheme, but we should keep
up the promise of our versioning scheme. The specification states that
an H5MD element is time-independent or time-dependent, and that a
time-dependent element contains a time and a step dataset. The changes
discussed in this thread would go into version 2.0; which is nothing
to worry about, it is merely honest with regard to compatibility.
