Without this, it's not obvious where users should even start looking:

  $ guix pull
  Updating channel 'guix' from Git repository at URL...
  guix pull: error: mkdir: Permission denied
  $

* guix/git.scm (clone*): Print DIRECTORY as a hint on EPERM.
