Hello Danny,

I tested you patch by cross-compiling a simple system for
aarch64-gnu-linux with:

(kernel-loadable-modules (list acpi-call-linux-module))
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

However, I have the following error:

guix system: error: gnu/packages/linux.scm:886:2: acpi-call-linux-module@3.17: 
build system `linux-module' does not support cross builds

This is not caused by your patch, but it prevents me from testing :(
