On the Outreachy ML the following was communicated:
The new Outreachy intern announcement date is May 4.
They apologize for the inconvenience, and thank for patience.
This is to keep in sync with GSoC.
Mentors, please keep in mind not communicate the selections before the
announcement.
Applicants, I am sorry about this confusion and thanks for your understanding.
