Because this has already taken too much time, I’ve reverted the GCC 5
upgrade in commit 9dee9e8ffe4650949bd3ad2edf559cf4a33e9e6e.
I hope we can make progress on this soon. In the meantime, I think we
should do a bit of “ungrafting” in core-updates and get it built.
Thoughts?
