[ANN] Guile-PNG 0.1.0 released

Hello Guilers,

I'm pleased to announce Guile-PNG 0.1.0, Portable Network Graphics
(PNG)[1] library for GNU Guile, implemented in pure scheme:

The library uses Guile-ZLIB[2] to compress/decompress the PNG data.

Also this is the third project of mine that uses Guile State Machine
Compiler (Guile-SMC)[3].

Currently Guile-PNG supports only 8 bits per pixel images and some bugs
are luring inside indeed.  But I'm hoping that the library will be
useful for someone; at least for me it was a lot of fun reading the RFC
and trying to figure out how to implement all the nuances of the
standard.  ;-)
