I'm afraid I can't help much, but you might have more luck with 1.8.7
than with a 1.9.x release. Unfortunately the underlying problem here is
that Andy is now busy enhancing the core of guile...
Good luck if you do work on it a bit yourself!

Yes, I'm going to put those up on the website. But you know, I presume,
that the docs are also included in the pre-releases?
