    - bugfix: `-L DIR' maintains module catalog info for each DIR
  
    - bugfix: scm_exit_status no longer assumes ARGS is a list
  
        If it is a non-empty list, the first element is taken to be the
        ARG.  The return value is a number if ARG is an integer (ie.,
        satisfying SCM_INUMP), EXIT_FAILURE if #f, else EXIT_SUCCESS.
