I'm sorry, but this is completely moronic. The idea of censoring
documentation to remove mentions of impure software is ridiculous.
well, even ridicule has value (insert quote about free advertising
here). my take is that www.gnu.org is rms's thang so if he wants it
that way, i have no problem complying.
Of course the authors of documents are free to do whatever they want
with them, but this is the sort of thing that needlessly alienates
people from free software.
this is why this less hard-line guile lover uses glug.org. luckily the
free software spirit is congruent w/ reveling in non-centralized ways.
(IOW, don't stress about it; i'll help rms keep www.gnu.org clean if
people help me keep www.glug.org useful. :-)
