Hi all,
There will be a GNU Hackers' Meeting in Boston this spring, the first
ever in the US. From Brian Gough:
The FSF is hosting the first US GNU Hackers' Meeting in Boston this
March (18-21) -- intended for people in the US -- and it would really
help if you could encourage anyone you know in America to attend
and/or mention it on your project mailing list if you enjoyed the
meeting(s) here. The registration page is
http://groups.fsf.org/wiki/LibrePlanet2010/GNUHackersMeeting
Current registrations include John Gilmore(!!) (original GNU Tar
developer, GDB maintainer, founder of Cygnus Support and EFF), as well
as Chong Yidong (Emacs maintainer) and Karl Fogel so it should be an
interesting event.
Unfortunately I personally won't be able to make it, but if any of you
are on the right coast, it sounds like good times.
Happy hacking,
Andy
