I have GMP working here for bignums, but I have a lot of FIXME's in
the code that I have to work on, and I'll need to run some more tests
before I'd be comfortable committing it.  I'm planning to work on this
in the unstable branch once 1.6.1 is out, and there are some other
things I'd like to check in the process -- I've come across a couple
of bits in the code where I'm not sure we're RNRS compliant (or is
that what you're asking?)
