And while on the subject, what's `nfc'? (As used in your ChangeLog
entries.)
phb is short for "pointy-haired boss", the concise description of a US
comic strip charac{ter,ature} cum cultural avatar for the cubicle farm
set. grep the net for "dilbert".
nfc is short for "no (or non-, although that sounds funny) functional
change", used for edits for the purposes of commenting, refilling,
aesthetic munging, top-level form re-ordering (unless dependency
involved), recasting as table-driven, etc. basically, the code behaves
(functions) the same way as before (at some interface), even though it
may look different. i used to think these types of changes were
superflous and silly, but now in addition i think they help ease subtle
cognitive dissonances.
