at the end of boot-9.scm to get a readline enabled guile. Admittedly
not a very big deal, but it seems to me that the majority of users
are benefited with readline support. Then why not activate it by
default?
IMHO, readline is useless; all my guile (and derivative) repls are run
w/ (much) better interactive support from w/in emacs.
