Fine with me, but I don't know enough about the issue to be
athoritative.

That sounds good.

I'm also in the process of hacking on RELEASE and HACKING.  These
needed major updates, but I'm about half way done.

Not sure - I would just take it to mean we should make sure it looks
OK.

Those look pretty good to me, though I'm not as good at reading
non-context diffs quickly, and I didn't have a long time to look at
it.
