Personally, I don't have any problem with having the version number of
the guile version in which something was deprecated be an argument to
SCM_DEBUG_DEPRECATED. Doesn't seem like it could hurt, and it might
help. We'll at least have a hard record of when we deprecated
something right where it's defined, but we could also probably get by
just fine with RELEASE alone...
