Actually, unless I'm mistaken, I tend to think it's pretty much a yes
for everyone.  The question is, is the documentation better than what
people are having to use right now, i.e. the 1.4 documentation.  I'd
venture to say that the current documentation, though still
incomplete, is probably a fairly substantial improvement over 1.4.
Further, even average users will note the inclusion of a bunch of
SRFIs, and the mainstreaming of goops, which I think will benefit
everyone.

So while I agree that better is always better, I still feel that the
current codebase is probably a substantial improvement over 1.4 for
*everyone*, experienced programmers, and new users alike.

I wouldn't worry too much, though I'm planning to push forward
steadily, that still means a reasonable amount of time -- see my
response to your other message.
