it's not as easy as that since these keys can already be used for
hotkeys and it would also require complete rewrite of menu editing code.
Unless someone proposes a way to nicely integrate the both possibilities
(both code-wise and interface-wise), it's rejected. And even then it
feels like featuritus. In any case I won't spend any of my time coding this.
