yes it is (modules loaded are : font, normal, _chain, biosdisk, pc, ext2 and 
fshelp)

It try to load it, then it seems it can't, because I'm again on the same black 
& white menu.

Here's my grub.cfg in attachement (it has been generated by update-grub)
