Mystery with parsing of grub.cfg

Hi all!

Didn't find any info abt this problem in google. After reinstallation of grub 
1.97, OS choosing menu simply disappears (on some PCs), instead of it command 
line (not resque!) shown. System boots normally after entering number of  
commands. The question is simple as that - how to get back os choosing menu 
back? =))
