Okujisan, do you know why genmk.rb isn't using ASFLAGS? It's using 
CFLAGS even for boot/powerpc/ieee1275/crt0.S ... (search for 
"grubof-boot_powerpc_ieee1275_crt0.o:" in conf/powerpc-ieee1275.mk).
