GNU eqn question/suggestion

Hello, new to mailing lists :p

I have started using groff for writing mathematical papers. One question 
though, i cant seem to find any 'element of set' operator in the docs. 
Could this be a good feature to the project, or should i implement it 
myself. If so, how would one do that?

If the answer would be too extensive, any website would also be helpful.
