To adapt a witticism of Pascal, my lengthy emails are only thus because
I haven't taken the time to make them shorter.

Thank you!  The work is truly its own reward, in that the result means
my eyeballs are stabbed with needles less frequently, but I appreciate
every expression of support.  They do not come so frequently that I am
tempted to take them for granted.  :)
