It seems you can start a fresh dbus-daemon for each evince so each lives
in its own isolated world and doesn't pass the work onto another.
dbus-launch evince foo.ps
However, after the window's closed and evince exits, the dbus-daemon
lives on. Perhaps someone else knows how to either get it to quit too
or tell it to exit, perhaps with dbus-send(1).
