Werner, I'm sorry...  I went to reproduce the problem with a couple
small files and I discovered that they didn't exhibit it any more.  I
then went back to my resume file, and it turns out that the header and
footer margins now work there, too.  The last time I updated my resume
was about two years ago, and I'm pretty sure I was having a problem with
it then.  However, it appears to work now, so sorry for the waste of
bandwidth.  Thanks for your reply.
