I'd welcome views and contributions about the following.
It concerns making a "booklet" out of a PS document.
Which is called "imposition." See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

You can easily do this by manipulating the PostScript file.
The Perl script below suffices.

Nice little script. I could have sworn there was already some
Free software that would compensate for creep -- in fact, I
mistakenly thought psbook or psnup could do it. But if it's
that easy....
In the commercial realm, Quite Imposing (quite.com) is
popular. I'll take Free tools and a command line any day,
though.
