Attached is the requested tar file (rmatrix_stuff.tgz, 32550 bytes).
It contains the following:

    ve6wvc:/usr/local/groff-1.19/src/preproc/eqn/diff_u_stuff# tar -tzvf *.tgz
    -rw-r--r-- root/root 2513 2005-01-25 14:45:52 eqn.man
    -rw-r--r-- root/root 543 2005-01-25 14:46:32 Makefile.sub
    -rw-r--r-- root/root 1093 2005-01-25 14:46:50 main.cpp
    -rw-r--r-- root/root 24758 2005-01-25 14:47:00 rmatrix.cpp
    -r--r--r-- root/root 24696 2005-01-25 15:56:12 sample_data.ms
    -rw-r--r-- root/root 60894 2005-01-25 15:59:25 sample_data.ps

The first three are in 'diff -u' format. The instructions for using
'rmatrix' without altering 'groff' are in the 'ms' and 'ps' files. If you
encounter any difficulty, please advise and I'll send a replacement.

I re-read my last post, and noticed a minor error. I included a false
statement:

"Actually, only the first character of the column alignment
text is tested, so anything beginning with one of those letters
        is valid."

This is wrong (I don't know what I was thinking when I added it). Only
the keywords 'lcol', 'ccol', 'rcol', 'l'. 'c' and 'r' are recognized in
the format row.

Regards,

Dean
