I don't think so. Tell me a reason why I should use old versions of
tools which eventually don't show up at all in a release tarball! CVS
is always something for developers; the list of prerequisites is given
in README.CVS:
the netpbm package
texinfo >= 4.3
bison >= 1.875b or byacc
ghostscript
