Du scheinst meine letzte deutsche Email nicht bekommen zu haben.  pic
erlaubt auch `0'-`9' und `_' für `figname'.  Beispiel:

  .PS
  figname = Bild_2003;
  ...
  .PE
  \gpicbox{Bild_2003}

Das funktioniert nicht mit Deinem Vorschlag.
