[Groff] gs from CVS

I just want to report that the ps2pdf script from the current CVS of
gs can handle this:

  \[*a]\[lh]
  .br
  \f[S]\[*a]\f[]\[rh]

The \[*a] glyph is correctly slanted, and the position of \[lh] is
correct also.  This is good news IMHO.

Funnily, if you have only the first line, the whole page is still
rotated by 180 degrees.  Additionally, gs itself can't display the
above correctly -- the position of the \[lh] glyph is wrong.
