Fixed, thanks. I missed the `skip_alternative' routine while
reorganizing the handling of the `have_input' flag in troff's
input.cc.

I think I've this fixed also now. It was an old bug, and changing the
default index from `8' to `-1' apparently caused this effect in rxvt
(grotty produced an invalid SGR sequence).
Please test the current CVS again.
