All together now:
Please send a small file that triggers the error to
the list & we'll have a look.
One thing you might want to check -- if you've brought the
mm files from OSX to a more traditional Un*x, you might need
to fix the line endings. (tr '\r' '\n' <old.mm >new.mm). I've
had a few CRLF-delimited files cause all sorts of problems
for Linux groff.
If you're still working from OSX, is your groff self-compiled?
The 10.1.5 update (and I think 10.2) provide groff 1.17.2. I
may be moving from YellowDog to OSX fairly soon myself....
