On PDF, I have been thinking about the possibility of integrating Kees van
der Laan's PDF macros into ms (and mm). These macros allow setting up pdf
file metadata and hyperlinking, although the latter would perhaps be better
managed by somehow recycling the markup used by the html backend.

For those interested, these macros are included in van der Laan's win32 port
of groff 1.17.2 available at http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/
