I have bad feelings about this. The GPL version doesn't contain all the 
possible encoders that LizardTech sell; it does contain the encoders, 
though. Some free versions of the JBIG2 software (used for compressing 
single-bit images) have disappeared from the next after their owners 
decided they could make money from them.

doing a highly unscientific estimate (based on a single page from the 
book as a TIFF being 35163 bytes, and the same data as a djvu file being 
15469 bytes), it'd be 10MB as opposed to 23MB.
